Batch Electronic Repeat Dispensing (eRDS)
Batch Electronic Repeat Dispensing (eRD) is an NHS Electronic Prescription Service feature allowing GPs to authorise multiple, regular prescriptions for up to 12 months with one digital signature. These are stored on the NHS Spine and released at intervals to a nominated pharmacy, enabling patients to collect medication without reordering.
